Who can attend Little Blossoms? What age groups do you serve?We welcome children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, regardless of family background or life experience. At Little Blossoms, we celebrate diversity and inclusion, and our program is designed to support children of all abilities, including those with developmental differences or special needs.

What curriculum or teaching approach is used?Our curriculum is child-centered, play-based and developmentally appropriate, designed to support the unique needs of every child from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We integrate evidence-based practices such as the Pyramid Model, FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions), Conscious Discipline, ACES-informed care, and the CHILD Assessment. These approaches are blended into a responsive curriculum that supports each child’s emotional, social, and academic development. Our classrooms are designed to promote repeated, hands-on learning experiences, giving children the time and space to build confidence and master new skills at their own pace. We provide accommodations and modifications as needed, ensuring children of all abilities and learning styles can fully engage and succeed. We also recognize that learning happens throughout the entire environment. Children at Little Blossoms benefit from indoor and outdoor gross motor play areas, dedicated sensory spaces, and a curriculum that encourages healthy relationships, communication of needs, and readiness for school and life. Designed with every child in mind, our program nurtures growth, learning, and belonging.

What is a therapeutic preschool? How is the Little Blossoms program different from a traditional preschool?Little Blossoms is a therapeutic early learning center with a strong emphasis on emotional health and social development. Unlike traditional preschools, our program is designed to meet each child’s unique emotional and developmental needs through responsive, individualized support. Our team of highly trained educators uses trauma-informed, relationship-based practices to nurture emotional resilience, self-regulation, and social skills - foundations that support lifelong learning. We believe in the power of compassionate care and create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, supported, and valued. Our whole family approach to care and learning means that we work closely with parents and caregivers to build a strong, collaborative partnership that supports both the child’s growth and the family’s well-being. When does Little Blossoms open? Can we enroll now?Little Blossoms opens on Monday, May 5, 2025 and we are currently enrolling new families! Spaces are limited, so we encourage families to schedule a tour and complete the enrollment process as soon as possible. Contact us today to secure your child’s spot!

How much does tuition cost? Is financial assistance available?Tuition rates are available upon request during tours and open houses. We proudly accept DHS child care vouchers and will work with families on a case-by-case basis in need of financial assistance, scholarships, and sliding scale rates. We understand that every family's situation is unique, and we’re happy to work with you individually to explore options that meet your needs.

What are the payment schedules? Do you offer sibling discounts?Tuition is billed weekly. Families may choose a payment schedule that best fits their needs, as long as payments are made on time. Sibling discounts may be available.

What is the enrollment process?Schedule a tour of our facility. Pay the program registration fee to secure a spot. Complete Procare registration to receive application and enrollment forms. Submit completed application and required documents. Attend new family orientation and meet the teacher to help with your child's transition.

Is there a waitlist, and how does it work?Yes, once all spaces are filled, families can join our waitlist by paying a registration fee. Siblings and children from the same household as currently enrolled students receive priority placement.

What hours is Little Blossoms open?We are open Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

What training and qualifications do Little Blossoms staff have?All staff at Little Blossoms hold degrees in child development or related fields and bring years of experience in early childhood education. Our teachers are well-versed in best practices and committed to creating safe, nurturing environments where every child can thrive. Staff participate in ongoing professional development and specialized training, including but not limited to FAN (Facilitating Attuned Interactions), the Pyramid Model, Conscious Discipline, and trauma-informed care. Our team is equipped to support both typically developing children and those who have experienced hardship, ensuring that every child - and family - receives compassionate, responsive care.

Is the center licensed and accredited?Yes. Little Blossoms is licensed through the TN Department of Human Services (DHS) and adheres to all state regulations for early childhood education.

Are meals and snacks provided?Yes! We participate in the CACFP program, providing nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily. We also maintain a strict nut-free policy to accommodate allergies.
