A therapeutic preschool is an early learning program with extra support built into the day.
At Little Blossoms, we focus on children’s social, emotional, and behavioral growth in a caring and structured setting.
We keep our class sizes small so each child gets the attention they need. Our teachers are trained in child development and use relationship-based and trauma-informed practices to help children feel safe and supported.
We teach children how to:
• Handle big feelings
• Build friendships
• Practice self-control
• Grow in confidence
These skills are just as important as early reading and math. They help children get ready for kindergarten and for life.
We also have extra support available when needed. An on-site pediatric clinician can observe in classrooms, lead small social-emotional groups, and use play-based support. Our classrooms include both sensory increase and sensory decrease spaces to help children calm their bodies and focus.
A support team is also available to help teachers and classrooms as needed.
What makes us different is that this support is part of the school day. Children are not singled out or labeled. Support happens through caring relationships and steady routines.
We also work closely with families. When parents and teachers work together, children grow stronger.
At Little Blossoms, every child is known, supported, and given the space to thrive.
We welcome children ages 6 weeks to their 6th birthday, regardless of family background or life experience.
At Little Blossoms, we celebrate diversity and inclusion, and our program is designed to support children of all abilities, including those with developmental differences or special needs.
Our curriculum begins with relationships.
Little Blossoms uses a literacy-based, hands-on approach designed to feel natural in the classroom. Each day often begins with a children’s book. That story guides learning through art, movement, science, math, and play.
Our teachers do not follow scripted lessons or a curriculum in a box. Instead, they create learning experiences based on the children in front of them. This allows them to support each child’s strengths, interests, and stage of development.
We align our program with Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards (TN-ELDS) to support kindergarten readiness and school success.
Children learn best through connection and experience. That’s why our classrooms include:
• Play-based learning
• Repeated hands-on activities
• Outdoor movement and gross motor play
• Sensory-friendly spaces
• Positive guidance and emotional skill-building
We also use research-based practices that support strong relationships and healthy development.
These tools help teachers respond to children with care, patience, and clear guidance.
At Little Blossoms, learning happens through connection, curiosity, and steady support.
A balanced mix of structured learning, creative play, and social interaction, including:
• Breakfast & Morning Meeting
